by Macks Solicitors

37-year-old was bitten, bruised and scratched

A woman of 37 was mauled by three dogs last month in a vicious dog attack near her allotment. The woman was bitten twice on the arm, and suffered scratches and bruises on her stomach in the ordeal.

Police were told that the dogs’ owner did not assist in rescuing the woman during the attack, and have described the incident as “very serious,” (BBC News, 2009).

PC Katherine Giles said “I would also like to remind dog owners that it is their responsibility to ensure that they have full control of their dogs and that it is an offence to allow their dog to be dangerously out of control,” (BBC News, 2009).
