I was educated at St. Joseph’s RC Primary School Middlesbrough, St. Mary’s RC College Middlesbrough, Newcastle University, and Guildford College of Law, qualifying as a solicitor in 1982. I became a partner in a Middlesbrough firm, and then established my own business in 1990 which has now grown to become the Watson Law Group, operating through two brands based in 9 offices spread across North Yorkshire and South Durham.

I act as Chairman of the group.
