Drowning death at family party

by Macks Solicitors

A five year old boy, Hayden Crowe, tragically died on Saturday after being found lying face down in his uncle’s swimming pool. The little boy had been at a family party on a farm in Lancashire accompanied by his mother, where he had spent the day.

During the day he had been playing with friends and family in the pool but went missing later in the evening. When he was found, friends and family did all that they could to save Hayden before the paramedics were called at 8.30pm. Tragically, Hayden died in hospital later that night.

Hayden’s mother Michelle CROWE was said to be too distraught to talk to the papers about her son’s death, but she was described as a “good, caring Mum”.

Janis Burdin, the headmistress at Hayden’s school, Moss Side Primary said today that Hayden was a “lovely little boy” and said that there will be a gap in his year one class when school resumes in September “where Hayden should be”.

A spokesman for the police said “During the evening, it became apparent one of the child guests was missing. Upon searching the pool family members discovered the boy face down in the water.” “The victim who is from the Leyland area was taken by ambulance to Royal Preston Hospital but sadly died a few hours later”.

An investigation into his death will take place this week.
