Sam is a Solicitor in our Wills and Probate Department, based in Stockton (and Middlesbrough) where his role involves assisting families when loved ones have passed away, guiding them or acting on their behalf through the administration process to make a difficult time easier.  He also advises on and prepares Wills for clients and Lasting Power of Attorney documents.

Sam joined Macks in March 2020, after qualifying as a Solicitor in January 2020. He was passionate about specialising in Wills and Probate Law, and was attracted to Macks due to their enviable Wills and Probate reputation within the North East.

Sam can recount some stand out moments in his career; assisting a social worker at Roseberry Park Hospital to arrange making wills for patients when a lot of other firms had turned them down because it was considered too much hassle for them. Also, assisting with St Theresa’s Hospice’s 2020 Make a Will Month, which was a fundraising exercise for the Charity during the pandemic, when donations were in decline.

Outside of work Sam enjoys outdoor sports and activities.
