James joined the Wills and Probate department at Macks’ Middlesbrough office in September 2024 as a trainee, assisting with matters including drafting wills and administering the estates of those who have passed away. In 2026, James qualified as a Solicitor and continues to work within the Wills and Probate department.

James studied at Northumbria University for four years, graduating in July 2024 with a First-Class Master’s Degree in Law. During his studies, he also worked in Northumbria’s Student Law Office, where he provided pro bono legal advice to clients on a range of matters.
