Accident At Work Solicitor Highly Recommended
HGV driver James Brown, 66, from Billingham, suffered serious damage to his shoulder ligaments in an accident at work in February 2013.
“I was up a ladder fitting sheets to a heavy load of metal pipes at the pipe mill at Hartlepool. I turned and because the sheet was wet, it slipped, tearing all the ligaments in my shoulder.
“I had an operation and after about a year I was able to go back to work, but then I tore them again. I’ve never been able to work since and am now waiting to find out if I need another operation.
“One of the lads at work gave me the number for Macks because they’d looked after a case for him.
“Mr O’Connor was very, very good. He was friendly and went out of his way to do everything he could for me. He always kept me up to date with what was happening.
“The company admitted 80/20 liability but I was advised not to accept that. We fought and I’ve got the settlement I wanted now.
“I’d 100 per cent recommend Macks if anyone asked me. It was a very good service and I appreciate everything Mr O’Connor has done for me.”
