Our legal Solicitor and Paralegal Apprenticeships offer a work-based pathway into the legal profession for ambitious and highly competent learners. For us, our Apprenticeship programmes help to shape future education and training of early talent, introduce new career routes and diversify our talent pools.

Legal Apprentices are mentored by our more senior Solicitors. Many of our Heads of Departments at Macks have been with the company since its early days, and are well placed to mentor, and manage continual training. You will learn to work efficiently, to deadlines, within a fast-paced environment. Your learning will prepare you to handle complex, confidential or sensitive information, drafting client documents and carrying out research on behalf of your clients. As you progress, you will develop increasingly higher-level skills in managing colleagues and clients, taking legal matters from enquiry through to completion. Many of our younger legal practitioners are able to gain experience working across our two law firms, in different seats, before finding their passion or niche.

Early Apprenticeship opportunities are also available in Business disciplines supporting our Senior Leadership Team:

This cost of an Apprenticeship is covered by us as your employer through the Apprenticeship Levy and some CILEx qualifications are offered with funding opportunities.
