How do I know if I can claim?
If you have suffered an injury as a result of an accident that was someone else’s fault, there is a good chance that you can pursue a claim. If you are in doubt, our friendly personal injury team will be happy to advise whether or not you have a strong case.
Can you take over from my current lawyers?
If you are concerned with the way in which your claim is being handled, we are happy to offer a second opinion without obligation. Should you decide that your needs would be better served with us, we may be able to take over from your current lawyers.
Our firm’s reputation was established by suing negligent solicitors. In a particularly notable case, we secured £150,000 in compensation for a client whose case had originally been settled by a negligent lawyer for £1,500.
I have difficulty travelling since my accident. Will a solicitor visit me at home?
We communicate in a way that suits you. If you would like to discuss your case in the comfort of your own home, we will travel to you. Our personal injury team regularly journey the length and breadth of England and Wales to meet our clients.
Will I have to go to court to obtain my compensation?
As we prepare cases so thoroughly, less than one in 200 of our personal injury compensation claims proceed to court. In the very rare instances that clients are required to go to court, we ensure that they are fully prepared, so as to ensure the best possible outcome.
What will I have to pay for your service?
Win or lose, no charge will be made to you. Instead, we will recover our costs from the other side. All of our advice and expertise is available to you free of charge.
How much compensation will I be awarded?
The amount of compensation you receive will depend on the seriousness of your injuries or illness. Our personal injury team always seek to ensure that the maximum compensation is recovered as quickly as possible.
What if I fail to win?
You will have nothing to pay. We only take on cases that we feel have a strong chance of success, thus saving your time and ours. In the rare event that a claim is unsuccessful, we make no charge for our services.
Who pays if I win?
In 99.9 per cent of successful claims, an opponent’s insurer will pay compensation under the terms of their insurance.
What is an ‘interim payment’?
We regularly seek and obtain interim payments for clients who have suffered financial loss arising from their accident. This can include loss of earnings and the cost of private physiotherapy.
