In April 2009 a woman was ordered to pay £500 compensation after her dog attacked a ten-year-old boy. Llandudno Magistrates Court heard that the boy had sustained lasting physical and psychological injuries in the attack.

Boy standing on slipway dies after crash

Four-year-old Caleb Cameron was standing on a slipway not far from his home last Saturday when he was struck by a passing sea scooter. The child was rushed by air ambulance to Southern General Hospital in Glasgow, but suffered fatal head injuries.
